PBXreach is a business class Hosted PBX (also known as a Virtual PBX) that is inclusive of the most advanced calling features, built in redundancy, disaster recovery, and telephone service including unlimited local and long distance calling to the entire continental US.
How will PBXreach hosted PBX save me money?
PBXreach will eliminate telephone system maintenance contracts and long distance calling charges, and it includes support for teleworkers thereby eliminating office space rental and parking charges. PBXreach uses digital VoIP technology to provide the highest quality voice at a lower price.
Does PBXreach replace my existing telephone service and service provider?
Yes, when you switch to PBXreach, we transfer your existing telephone numbers to Triad Telecom and provide your phone service as well as your long distance.
Will PBXreach work with my existing high speed Internet connection?
Yes, PBXreach works with any high speed Internet connection. Depending on the codec that your phone uses (g.729a or g.711U) the bandwidth required is between 28k and 96k per simultaneous call.
What type of telephone handsets can I use with PBXreach?
Any SIP compatible handset will work, including software based softphones. Triad Telecom recommends the Cisco SPA5xx and Cisco SPA3xx series IP telephones. Some of the more popular handsets are made by: Cisco, Polycom, Linksys, Aastra, Grandstream, Counterpath’s Eyebeam, Snom, Zyxel, and Nortel.
How can I use my mobile cell phone or existing landline with PBXreach?
You can register any phone (regardless of who provides the service) to PBXreach as an extension. When someone dials into your company and rings that extension, your phone will ring and you will have the ability to park calls, transfer, or conference as if you were using an IP phone registered to the system.
What is the call quality like?
Superior! Triad Telecom uses a Cisco powered digital network and routes all calls via Tier 1 enterprise routes. In other words, Triad Telecom does not ‘Least Cost Route’; we route all calls inbound and outbound over the most sophisticated and redundant equipment available to provide a crisp HD voice experience.
What happens if I have a power or Internet outage?
Unlike a traditional premise based phone system, PBXreach is a cloud technology. This means that the actual PBX resides in redundant carrier class datacenters. In the event that an office location has a power or Internet outage, PBXreach still answers the calls and routes them according to pre-programmed failover destinations such as: voicemail, other office locations, or a mobile sales force. Furthermore, PBXreach offers the flexibility of moving handsets to any broadband Internet connection allowing users to work from home on a snow day instead of closing the office.
Can I really take my telephone handset to another location?
Absolutely! With PBXreach, your telephone handset is programmed to ‘call home’. This means that if you take your handset to another location with broadband Internet access, the phone will call home and register to the system just like it was sitting in your office. You can still be reached at your extension and carry on business as if you were physically in the office from anywhere! In fact, if you do not take your handset, you can log into your web portal and temporarily transfer your extension to your cell phone or home phone without missing a beat. PBXreach is truly the most versatile hosted PBX solution available!
What size business is PBXreach hosted PBX for?
